A. This content will announce a total of 200 designs selected from among 1,000 entries. 100 of them will be selected by the votes of general users and the other 100 will be selected by the UT Selection Committee.
Q. In which time period are those 200 designs being announced?
A. Two to three designs will be announced every day from December 1 to February 29.
Q. When will the 200 finalists be announced?
A. A few finalists will be announced every day between December 1, 2007 and February 29, 2008.
Q. Can’t we see the past 1,000 designs any longer?
A. You can still view them from “SPECIAL SEARCH,” the same as before.
You can also use comment and blog functions on the designs.

A. This content is for you to guess which design will finally win the grand prix.

1. Definitions of personal information
‘Personal information’ is defined as information on individual customers (hereinafter referred to as ‘personal information’) that can identify the relevant individual customers with items such as name, address and telephone number. This information includes those items that can identify the individual through matching with other information.
2. Acquisition of personal information
When we ask our customers to provide personal information, we notify them of the specific use purpose and scope of third parties to whom we offer that personal information. On that basis, we will collect personal information only when the customer agrees.
3. Use of personal information
We use our customers’ personal information for the following purposes.
- - To offer our products and services
- - To proceed with the payment procedure
- - To offer our information
- - To develop our products
- - To improve our services
- - For other justified purposes
In addition, if we need to use collected personal information beyond the scope of its original use purpose, we will seek to obtain approval of the customers once again.
4. Management of personal information
We do our best to prevent personal information collected from our customers from being leaked, lost or recorded incorrectly while managing it appropriately.
We also post a member of personnel charged with the duty of managing personal information to strive toward maintaining and improving its management system and organization system. Simultaneously to secure its safety, we strive to prevent any unauthorized access, leakage, loss or alteration of personal information through providing information security measures.
5. Provision to third parties
We may provide our customers’ personal information to third parties for achieving the use purposes within the following extent.
- - Our group companies and franchise stores
- - Department stores, etc.
We may also entrust all or part of the business of handling personal information to a third party. When offering or entrusting personal information to a third party, we carefully select the third party to offer such personal information. At the same time, we prevent any leakage, loss or alteration of personal information through measures such as signing an agreement on handling personal information, while supervising or instructing the third party as needed.
If we need to offer personal information to a third party that is not approved by customers, we will obtain the approval of customers once again before providing such personal information to the third party.
6. Queries from customers
We promptly respond to our customers’ requests for disclosing, correcting or stopping the use of their personal information. However, please note that we will confirm your identity with an appropriate method to prevent any leakage of information caused by unauthorized request for disclosure when such a request is being made.
7. In-house training and managing system
We continue providing training to our employees upon developing and arranging the guidelines for handling personal information.
8. Preparing a point of contact regarding personal information
We prepare a point of contact for receiving our customers’ queries on personal information handling to address them promptly.
